Reflection

PART 1
The quality of contrast, focus and composition in my photos was good overall. There was always a pure white and black and the photos were never unintentionally blurry. The quality of my subject matter varied but was always shot well. I always fufilled the assignment given and I paid attention to the objective, sometimes experimenting and i always provided the correct number of images and index prints. The quality of my work was good and it was always completed on time.
I always put effort into the shooting of my images. My photos were taken effectively and I spent ample time looking for good locations/subjects for my photography projects. I often shot more than what was required to ensure I had a good final photo to post to my blog. I didn’t give up on a shot if it was too hard, and I spent time looking for solutions to problems. I took creative risks with my editing, angles and subject matter. Whenever asked, I would give my peers constructive criticism of their works and would accept their feedback as well. I kept a positive attitude throughout the course of the semester.
I was always on time to class and worked until the bell rang, or I had thoroughly completed my assignment. I worked independently on my assignments and managed to stay on task throughout most of the class block.
I created my own style of the way I shot my subjects. I seek to improve though, I could improve the quality of the photos I shoot and I can take more risks in the future. I will improve my photos by making them more compelling and showing confidence when presenting my photos.
I am going to make sure to be on task for all of the class period and to make sure my projects are completed to the best of my ability and showcase creativity and confidence. I will make sure my images have high quality and showcase effort and risk taking.

PART 2
I suggest we do still life shots in the photo studio.

Minimalism Phase 1

1. Minimalism in photography is based around simplicity in the subject or subject of the photograph. Ideally, the photograph should mainly contain solid colors and should refrain from patterns that are too loud or busy. The subject should be simple and not contain anything that would make it complex. 2.  The white and green compliment each other well. It is appealing to look at and doesn't have motion or busy patterns. The colors are calming and the there is one subject. The water is clear and the balance of the photo is nice from top to bottom. The warm colors look really nice with the mans more yellow skin tone and his outfit. The clean line really pulls the simplicity of the photo together.

Cubism Reflection

1. I chose the subject for my photo because I thought in the dark the pool had a lot more interesting colors from the lights in the pool, and I could use flash to make a more interesting composition. 2. I took 29 different photos for this project to try to make a abstract recreation of my pool over the original image using the new photos 3. The challenge I encountered is sometimes when I was putting the photo together, i forgot to take a picture from an angle I needed. 4. I would pick a more round/organic shaped subject to do my project with.
